Please contact Renee with the date and time of your event for quote. Once it is confirmed that Renee is avaliable on your requested day, she will send you details for transferring the booking deposit and also a booking form to fill out with all the details she will need for your event.
Yes, with a few requirements to consider: Level ground is very important for the harp to be stable and in the warmer months shade is required. Renee will not put the harp directly on grass, dirt, sand, gravel, or any such surface that could damage the harp.  Preferable platforms are sidewalks, patios, flat rock slabs, etc.
An alternative plan for wet weather is strongly recommended as the harp cannot get wet in any circumstances.
Renee is available to travel within Perth Metropolitan area. However, the harp is moved around via a specialised harp trolley therefore requires the equivalent of wheelchair access or ramp. The full size harp cannot be carried up a whole flight of stairs- an elevator is required. Please talk to Renee if your venue has many stairs or complicated access, or we can always use lever harps as an alternative.
For outdoor events, should inclement weather occur, the client must provide shelter or an alternate location.  The harp will not be played anywhere that is threatening rain or sprinklers, is humid enough for condensation to form on the harp, or is overly windy (where the harp could tip over).
There is no extra charge for learning one new song that isn't currently on the repertoire list. However the music needs to be playable on the harp (at Renee's discretion). If a customized arrangement has to be made, an additional fee will be incurred. Renee will NOT accompany other musicians on the day unless it has been arranged ahead of time.
The sound of the harp carries very well. For most ceremonies, amplification is not needed. The only exceptions would be for venues that have noise issues such as being outdoors on a busy street, near a large waterfall or fountain, or close to an airport.
The harp needs a dry, flat & level space of about four square feet.  From the set-up location, I need to be able to see the front & back of the aisle when the bridal party is standing in place. I usually determine the best location when I arrive at your wedding venue, based upon the decor and guest seating arrangement.
It is your choice – either in colors to coordinate with your wedding party or in concert black.
Please refer to the song list page on the website. Some clients ask me to choose the songs for them, others want to choose the repertoire themselves from the music list I provide. Renee will do her best to accomodate any special requests you might have.
We'll do our best to stay if your event runs overtime but this can't be guaranteed and overtime fees will be charged. For events where music is required right up until the event ends (such as wedding ceremonies) consider adding an extra 10 - 30 mins for your peace of mind.
